Pack Walk

The “Pack Walk” is exactly what the name implies, dog/parent teams will walk together with other dog/parent teams as a “pack”.
Starting July 8th, 2023, this walk will take place EVERY SATURDAY, weather permitting. We will meet at Oneida Shores in Brewerton, NY in the beach parking lot in the far back right corner. Please arrive by 9:00 a.m. so we can get our group acquainted and situated before the walk begins. The Walk will begin promptly at 9:15 a.m.. Location is subject to change.
This is a FREE event! There is no cost, other than making sure your pet is up to date on vaccines at least 2 weeks prior to their first pack walk.
The Pack Walk is open to ALL dog parent teams, whether or not your pet attends boarding or daycare at Leave it to Liz’s. However, potentially aggressive dogs, leash reactive dogs, and dogs with a bite history should not attend without having been assessed by Liz.
Some training assistance on loose-leash walking will be provided before and during the walk. This is not the same as our group and private training sessions, and a variety of topics WILL NOT be covered. The purpose of this walk is to provide socialization and to practice calm walking around a variety of distractions. This walk may not be fit for all dogs right away. Liz reserves the right to request a dog/owner team to leave the group until further training and practice is provided.
Please plan at least an hour to attend the pack walk. Walk times may vary from 30 minutes to an hour base on group size and needs. Liz will be available for 15 minutes before and after the walk for questions and additional assistance.
